Making a Healthy Deposit

A man with a surplus can control circumstances, but a man without a surplus is controlled by them, and often has no opportunity to exercise judgment. ~ Marshall Fields

When it comes to hepatitis C, a surplus can hurt us or help us. Excess weight, high blood sugar, and elevated cholesterol are not the sort of surplus we want to have. Fortunately, these unhealthy factors can often be brought under control with lifestyle modifications. Granted, losing weight isn’t easy, but with know-how and support, it can be achieved.

The surplus that can help us is health, which we can try to stockpile. Starting in on a regular exercise practice now will help you later. Bringing cholesterol and blood pressure down now gives you control over your body. The more you deposit now, the better.

We can’t be too healthy and with fall and winter around the corner, this is a great time to plan on what you will do to stay fit for the rest of your life.
