Inspiration for Those Low Hepatitis C Moments

In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer. ~Albert Camus

Hepatitis C patients who live in northern latitudes are probably getting tired of winter by now. I am at a loss for encouraging words, so instead, I am posting some of my favorite inspiring video clips. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth trillions!

This first clip shows you can be quite sick, but still enjoy life. Melinda Winner has rheumatoid arthritis, a disease that shares similarities with hepatitis C, especially fatigue. Some people with hepatitis C have autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis.

This YouTube short clip of 47-year old morbidly obese man named Roger shows that anyone can get healthier and change the world.

This video went viral quickly. Just before undergoing a double mastectomy, Deborah Cohen (who is also a physician) danced with her surgical team.

This is just for fun. This video clip shows day 86 of Aleksander Gamme’s South Pole Expedition. He buried a cache of food in advance in case he needed to resupply, and at this point he extremely hungry. His reaction is pure bliss.

May you be blessed with bliss.
